Coach Michael Pistor graduated with honors from the University of Houston in 2012 with a degree in English literature and a minor in education. Since that time he has run the varsity soccer programs at Uplift North Hills High School, Lake Creek High School, and Westfield High School in addition to coaching the men’s soccer programs at Lone Star-North Harris and Sam Houston State University. He takes great pride in having coached 33 players whose skill and passion for the game of soccer has allowed them to play at various higher levels including JC, NAIA, D3, D2, & D1 college programs, professionally in the United States, Mexico, and Germany, as well as for the U19 Mexican National Team and the U20 Jamaican National Team.
Coach Matt Motakef played NCAA Division 1 soccer at Presbyterian College on scholarship from 2014-2018, from which he graduated with a major in History and minor in English. He began coaching at Conroe High School in 2018, serving as the boys JV Coach for two years and Interim Varsity Coach for one. The JV have now won the district two years in a row and have maintained the attention of numerous college coaches. Over those two years, Coach Motakef helped secure more than 50 college offers for both Junior Varsity and Varsity players alike.
